The recent November and December holidays is possibly and most likely the busiest holiday in my life. It was filled with stuff like going to school for CCA, going overseas, going out with friends and not to mention holiday homework.... The highlight of my holiday would be going out with my family and friends.
In the first few days of my holiday, i went with my family to cruise on the Mariner of the Seas. Basically, there were many fun activities on board such as ice skating, rock climbing and many other shows. Surprisingly, I met some friends on the same cruise. It was interesting doing all the above when we were actually on the sea and it was way bigger than the last cruise that I went for.

After going for the cruise, I went overseas to Thailand for the 4th ASEAN Scout Jamboree. (Ya... I know what you're thinking, there were some protests going on in Thailand but we were safe there...) I went there as a member from the River Valley Eagle Scouts Group. I made many friends through this trip, some from ACS (I) Scout Troop, some from Dunman Secondary Scout Group and many others from other ASEAN countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Idonesia and Cambodia. I experienced many different things through this trip, such as bathing with pails or just bathing naked (totally didn't do the later), eating camp food with friends (well... Mostly instant), eating Thai food and learning about their culture and many others. After the Jamboree, we went to Pattaya, far away from the commotion in Bangkok to rest and relax. Everyone in the Singapore contingent who went for this trip were really enthusiastic and it was extremely fun being with them ^^ (like x100000000000000000000....)

Last but not least, I went to Osaka, Japan during Christmas with my family and my uncle's family. I ate sashimi (it was fun catching the fish and slicing it into sashimi immediately :)) and many other delicious (oishi as they say) street food. I experienced their culture like going to an onsen (well.... one has to be careful with what one sees) and experienced winter too. It was pretty rush as there were many attractions and not to mention shops to cover. We went to places such as Universal Studios Japan, Deer Park (there were deer shit everywhere...) and many others. We celebrated Christmas there with a simple Christmas cake. It was realIy fun and I hope that i will be able to go there again.
